Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor Overnight

Michael Foods, Inc. is a leading food processing and distribution company with a strong presence in the industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor Overnight to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Supervisor Overnight will be responsible for the management, training, and development of maintenance personnel in the Production/Processing areas. This role will ensure a safe and healthy work environment, supervise maintenance crew, and provide production support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assume personal responsibility to ensure a safe and healthy workplace for everyone.
  • Supervise maintenance crew and provide production support in the Production/Processing areas.
  • Create work orders and PMs, install new equipment, and troubleshoot problems with equipment.
  • Provide a safe work environment for employees and recognize and take steps to resolve operating problems.
  • Cooperate with all departments to ensure a coordinated work relationship exists at all times.
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records, enforce company policies, and encourage suggestions from employees.
  • Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality, or personnel safety.
Requirements:
  • Two years of mechanical and electrical maintenance and supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Associate's degree (AA) or two-year technical certificate in Mechanics and Electronics or a related field.
  • Knowledge of basic mechanics, welding, electrical, fabrication, preventative maintenance, plant operations, and government safety regulations.
  • Ability to supervise department personnel, recognize problem situations, and take appropriate steps to resolve.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
