Job Summary:

The Maintenance Supervisor Overnight will be responsible for the management, training, and development of maintenance personnel in the Production/Processing areas. This role will ensure a safe and healthy work environment, adhere to all safety policies and procedures, and provide support to the production team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and train maintenance personnel to ensure they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
  • Assume personal responsibility for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Provide support to the production team, including troubleshooting equipment issues and performing maintenance tasks.
  • Responsible for creating work orders and PMs, installing new equipment, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Ensure a safe work environment for employees, recognize and resolve operating problems, and cooperate with all departments to maintain a coordinated work relationship.
  • Enforce company policies in a fair and consistent manner, encourage employee suggestions, and keep accurate records.
  • Report any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality, or personnel safety.
Requirements:
  • Two years of mechanical and electrical maintenance and supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Associate's degree (AA) or two-year technical certificate in Mechanics and Electronics or a related field.
  • Knowledge of basic mechanics, welding, electrical, fabrication, preventative maintenance, plant operations, and government safety regulations.
  • Ability to supervise department personnel, recognize problem situations, and take appropriate steps to resolve.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
