As an Automotive Repair Specialist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and repairing vehicles, ensuring top-notch service for our customers.

We ensure a smooth transition for new team members:
We will guarantee your current hours for the initial 90 days.

All expenses related to relocating your toolbox will be covered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform work as detailed on repair orders with efficiency and precision, adhering to dealership and manufacturer standards.

• Diagnose the cause of malfunctions and execute repairs.

• Collaborate with the parts department to procure necessary components.

• Save and tag parts for warranty work or customer requests.

• Inspect assigned vehicles to identify any additional safety or service needs.


• Communicate with service advisors promptly regarding any additional work required, unnecessary repairs, or delays in completing repairs.

• Document all work performed and recommendations on the repair order.

• Conduct road tests when necessary or refer to a test technician.

• Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs and events.

• Stay updated on manufacturer technical bulletins.

• Supervise apprentice technicians as assigned.

• Report any machinery defects or malfunctions to your supervisor.

• Ensure that customer vehicles are maintained in a clean condition and report any changes in appearance or condition immediately.

• Maintain a tidy shop area.

• Be accountable for all dealership-owned tools and manuals, returning them in the same condition as received.


• Understand and comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including hazardous waste disposal and OSHA standards.

• Operate all tools and equipment safely.

• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Two to four years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills:
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.

• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

• Ability to effectively communicate with groups of customers or employees.

• Ability to analyze and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, and governmental regulations.

Mathematical Skills:
• Ability to perform basic mathematical operations and interpret data.

Reasoning Ability:
• Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and solve practical problems.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
• Manufacturer Training and Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certifications are a plus.

• Valid Driver's License.
