Job Title: Emergency Veterinary Receptionist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at Forever Vets Animal Hospital. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients and their pets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer telephones and greet clients in a professional and friendly manner
  • Prepare patient files and escort clients and patients to exam rooms
  • Receive and relay client correspondence, update client financial records
  • Perform basic computer skills, type 30 words per minute
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to client inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with veterinarians and other staff members to ensure seamless communication and care for our patients
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including client information, medical history, and treatment plans
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience as a medical receptionist or customer service representative
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Basic computer skills and typing proficiency
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
