Job Summary

A highly experienced Director, Development Program Management is sought to provide operational leadership and direction to assigned development programs and/or portfolios in the drug development industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive program management knowledge and experience, with a proven track record of driving cross-functional development teams to develop strategic plans and execute them from preclinical through commercialization/lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans, including goals, budgets, and timelines, and monitor their execution.
  • Lead cross-functional development teams to drive project/program plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with Global Program Heads to drive strategic program teams and sub-teams.
  • Ensure efficient delivery of plans and propose annual program goals aligned with program strategy and corporate goals.
  • Monitor progress against program goals and ensure accurate and timely reporting of program progress to management.
  • Anticipate issues and program risks and drive timely development of risk management plans and issue resolution.
Requirements
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of relevant broad project/program management experience.
  • Proven track record of driving cross-functional development teams and developing strategic plans.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
