Position Summary:
The Global Supply Chain Analyst plays a critical role in analyzing data to uncover inefficiencies and recommend enhancements within the supply chain framework, particularly focusing on global supply planning processes such as inventory management, manufacturing, procurement, operations, and distribution. This position is essential in providing analytical support to supply planning leadership, facilitating informed decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive data analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in inventory management, production, and data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with supply planning team members to document business needs, operational procedures, and data requirements.
  • Assist in standardizing processes across the supply chain by developing and maintaining process documentation and training materials.
  • Support the implementation of standardized work practices and change management initiatives.
  • Ensure effective utilization of plant ERP planning tools to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Gather and analyze data related to supply chain operations, providing reporting and analytical support for various requests.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in strategic processes involving supply planning, procurement, and inventory management.
  • Work under the guidance of senior management to develop and execute projects aimed at optimizing supply chain operations.
  • Foster relationships with cross-functional teams, including logistics, distribution, IT, sales, and marketing.
  • Monitor supply chain performance metrics and ensure adherence to established processes and procedures.
  • Validate and enhance master data accuracy to improve system performance.
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in material planning, logistics, operations, or related supply chain functions.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and organizational skills, with the ability to interpret large data sets and provide actionable insights.
  • Proficient in advanced Excel functionalities, including macros and statistical modeling.
  • Exceptional technical and analytical capabilities, with a knack for troubleshooting complex issues.
  • Familiarity with Material Planning and Forecasting and/or S&OP processes.
  • A collaborative team player who can adapt to various roles and work effectively with external partners.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with SAP is preferred.
  • Understanding of the supply chain function and its interdependencies within the organization.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is required.

Experience:
3-5 years of relevant experience is necessary.
