Job Title: Registered Nurse Supervisor

Far Rockaway Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our team in Far Rockaway, NY.

About the Role:

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced RN to oversee the care of our residents and lead our healthcare team. As a Registered Nurse Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating resident care requirements and scheduling nursing staff
  • Establishing a supportive environment by providing guidance to residents and families
  • Providing information to residents and staff by answering questions and requests
  • Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by implementing rules and regulations
  • Ensuring resident confidentiality by monitoring information processing
  • Managing documentation of resident care services
  • Promoting a collaborative relationship among healthcare teams
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of Long-Term Care experience
  • Be a strong and positive team leader for all members of the staff
  • Familiar with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Prescribing programs
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
