We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Housekeeper to join our team at Hilton Marco Island Resort and Spa. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for leading a team of housekeeping staff to ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and guest satisfaction are maintained.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, organize, and monitor departmental activities to ensure compliance with predetermined quality assurance standards.
- Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, laundry facilities, and offices to evaluate the condition of furniture, fixtures, décor, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Hire, train, counsel, and conduct performance reviews for housekeeping department staff.
- Distribute and delegate daily assignments to housekeeping team members, monitor house count, and make staffing adjustments accordingly.
- Manage finances of housekeeping and laundry operations, including budget and inventory controls.
- Analyze data and compile reports on expenditures, wages, labor, supplies, and other relevant metrics.
- Ensure all OSHA regulations regarding safety, chemicals, and cleaning supplies are being enforced, and provide training to employees as needed.
- Plan and conduct monthly staff meetings, and attend other related meetings to obtain and disseminate pertinent information.
- Minimum 3 years of resort experience in a management role.
- High school diploma required, college degree preferred.
- Advanced training in sanitation and safety desired, CPR/First Aid certification desired.
- Additional language ability preferred.
