Job Title: Clinical Research Coordinator Associate

Stanford University's Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative, and Pain Medicine is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Coordinator Associate to join our team. As a key member of our research team, you will play a critical role in conducting and coordinating research studies on older surgical patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate studies from startup through close-out, ensuring compliance with research protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to enroll patients in research studies.
  • Collect and manage patient and laboratory data for clinical research projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare regulatory submissions and ensure institutional Review Board renewals are completed.
  • Collaborate with the principal investigator and study coordinator/supervisor to ensure patient safety and adherence to proper study conduct.
Requirements:
  • Two-year college degree and two years of related work experience or a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and experience working in a clinical research environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Society of Clinical Research Associates or Association of Clinical Research Professionals certification.
  • Experience working in the Operating Room Environment and with older surgical patients.
Working Conditions:

Occasional evening and weekend hours.
