Job Summary

Stanford University's Department of Neurosurgery is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Coordinator Associate to join our team. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for coordinating clinical research studies, working closely with principal investigators, managers, and senior coordinators to ensure the successful execution of research projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate moderately complex aspects of two or more clinical studies, ensuring timely completion and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as the primary contact with research participants, sponsors, and regulatory agencies, providing exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Assist with screening, recruiting, and obtaining consent of study participants, reviewing medical records and gathering data as needed.
  • Perform clerical duties in the preparation of regulatory documents and maintenance of study regulatory binders.
  • Extract data from source documents and complete case report forms and electronic data capture (EDC) forms for assigned studies.
  • Collect, process, and ship specimens in accordance with clinical protocol and IRB.
  • Order and maintain study supplies, prepare, administer, and score study questionnaires and tests as assigned.
  • Participate in monitoring visits and regulatory audits, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Two-year college degree and two years of related work experience or a Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of related education and relevant experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with individuals and their families.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Society of Clinical Research Associates or Association of Clinical Research Professionals certification is preferred.
Working Conditions

Occasional evening and weekend hours, with the possibility of overtime as required. The successful candidate will be expected to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
