Job Title: Clinical Research Coordinator Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Research Coordinator Associate to join our dynamic team at Stanford University. As a Clinical Research Coordinator Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting the implementation of clinical research studies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and contributing to the advancement of medical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the implementation of clinical research studies, including participant recruitment, informed consent, and data collection.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Institutional Review Board (IRB) guidelines.
  • Collaborate with principal investigators, research coordinators, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of research studies.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed records of research activities, including participant data and study protocols.
  • Participate in data retrieval, reporting, and preparation of files and Case Report Forms for research studies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two years of experience in clinical research coordination or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software applications.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and research protocols.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA) or Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) certification.
Working Conditions:

This position may require working with hazardous materials and/or exposure to chemicals, blood, body fluids, or tissues, and risk of exposure to contagious diseases and infections. May require extended or unusual work hours based on research requirements and business needs.
