As a Team Coordinator, RN at Sentara Healthcare, you will play a vital role in the daily operations of our Vascular and Interventional Center. This is a full-time, day shift position that requires two years of nursing experience, previous leadership experience, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Manager with the daily 24-hour operations of the unit, ensuring patient safety and high-quality outcomes.
- Supervise patient care services staff to provide an exceptional patient/family experience.
- Develop and monitor the departmental budget, coordinate purchasing and payroll processes, and serve as a technical/clinical resource to team members.
- Interview, hire, develop, and retain staff members to build a highly reliable work team.
- Coordinate and/or assist with staff education, orientation, and precepting of team members.
- N-4YR - RN-Bachelor's Level Degree (Required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI
- Registered Nurse (RN) Single State - Nursing License - North Carolina, Virginia Department of Health Professionals (VADHP), or Compact/Multi-State License
