Facilities Operations Specialist

To ensure the continued success of our business, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Operations Specialist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities management, with expertise in project planning, execution, and monitoring. They will be responsible for ensuring that all facilities-related projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
The Facilities Operations Specialist will also be responsible for maintaining the mechanical equipment, building, and grounds, including out-sourced work, to ensure compliance with specifications and reporting on any issues that may impact EX and MX satisfaction, occupancy, and operations.
Additionally, the Facilities Operations Specialist will be responsible for monitoring the maintenance of HVAC, electrical, fire prevention systems, janitorial and refuse removal, grounds keeping services, secure document destruction, life safety systems, cellular electrical invoicing and access, furniture procurement, elevator operations, exterminator service, and corporate fleet maintenance.
The Facilities Operations Specialist will also be responsible for independently performing sourcing, bid preparation, analysis, and expense oversight from contractors, vendors, and business partners, inclusive of expense reporting. They will provide recommendations to management for approval and develop and distribute communications to provide visibility, direction, and minimize ambiguity, fostering successful organizational alignment and collaboration.
The Facilities Operations Specialist will be responsible for meeting all OSHA and regulatory agencies standards and guidelines and providing support to third-party service providers, including escort, delivery, and distribution, necessary to support positive operational outcomes. They will also act as a backup for other team members and may assist in special projects and tasks as required.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities management, with expertise in project planning, execution, and monitoring. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
