Position Summary:

The Apparel Sales Lead plays a pivotal role in upholding brand standards and enhancing the teammate experience. Under the guidance of the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager, this position is focused on delivering exceptional customer service while providing direction and support to teammates as their primary point of contact and mentor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in building a robust team by participating in in-store interviews and department tours.
  • Foster a people-first culture by engaging with every teammate to cultivate mutual trust and respect, contributing to a strong recognition culture within the store.
  • Plan and organize store operations 30 days in advance, collaborating with the Assistant Store Manager to align on workforce needs for daily tasks, projects, and events.
  • Effectively leverage team members to ensure adherence to brand standards and the execution of daily processes and tasks based on priority.
  • Support the store leadership team with general supervision in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain merchandising and presentation standards by adhering to established guidelines for floor sets, signage, pricing, and inventory presentation.
  • Assist in training teammates on company policies and procedures, including onboarding new hires and cross-training existing staff.
  • Adopt a collaborative approach to support the team across the store, performing additional tasks as assigned by management.
  • Prioritize coaching and personal development for oneself and others, providing hands-on guidance and explaining the rationale behind tasks and processes.
  • Lead by example to align with the organization’s vision, helping teammates understand how their roles contribute to overall goals and a seamless shopping experience.
  • Create an inclusive environment where all individuals, both teammates and customers, feel welcomed.
  • Adhere to established safety, loss prevention, and operational procedures while maintaining confidentiality of company information.

Qualifications:

  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
