Role: Retail Operations Supervisor

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Store Manager

DIRECT REPORTS: None

JOB CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

As a Retail Operations Supervisor, you will not only drive your personal sales achievements but also assist the management team in motivating and guiding the sales and support staff to enhance customer engagement. You will generate enthusiasm around product launches, initiatives, and programs while maintaining our high standards of communication and confidentiality. In the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager, you will take charge of all operational functions of the store.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the Store Manager in overseeing and coordinating daily store operations.
  • Supervise the sales team’s daily activities when the manager is unavailable or as assigned.
  • Actively promote and sell products to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Execute managerial tasks such as opening and closing the store, processing merchandise, and handling deposits as required.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to optimize sales and cultivate high-performing teams.
  • Build relationships with both new and existing customers to drive sales growth.
  • Meet quarterly sales targets and SPH objectives.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in retail or high-performance sales.
  • Knowledge of the Fashion Industry.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in digital tools; POS systems, MS Office, web, and social media.
  • Capable of performing physical tasks necessary for the role, including standing, stooping, lifting up to 24 pounds, and climbing ladders.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • College Degree.
  • At least 1 year of prior management experience in a retail apparel setting.
