Job Summary
SOSi is seeking a highly experienced Regional Manager to oversee contract operations in a large intelligence services program focused on the USCENTCOM AOR with CONUS reachback. The successful candidate will report to the Program Manager and be responsible for managing contract operations in their assigned geographic region.
Key Responsibilities
- Contract Operations Management
- Receive and execute technical taskings from the COR/TTM to the designated local Government representative at their assigned Regional Command.
- Report mission-related information to the PM when required by the PWS, appropriate regulations and guidelines, or when required by the COR to the local Government representative on tasking status.
- Ensure that all reported information supports PM reporting requirements.
- Intelligence Support Program Management
- Provide recommendations and comments for assessing and reporting intelligence-related requirements to the contractor's PM for inclusion in the monthly and quarterly status reports.
- Assist in the coordination of planning, programming, development, scheduling, and implementation of various intelligence support functions.
- Assist in providing various reports (including but not limited to): Monthly Status Report, Mobilization Plan Background Check Plan, Arming Authority Plan, Misconduct Report, etc.
- Team Leadership
- Lead large complex projects or teams with at least two years of management experience.
- Security Clearance
- Active in scope TS/SCI clearance.
Requirements
- Associate's degree from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education; OR at least two years of relevant experience.
- At least eight years of experience working in a Government environment as either Government or contractor employee, with at least two years of management experience.
- At least two years of experience in Iraq or Afghanistan or equivalent deployed experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
- Experience in either Afghanistan/SWA regional/political/military issues.
- Former US Army Command or equivalent.
Work Environment
- Living and working conditions while TDY or deployed could be remote and uncomfortable, with long hours, exposure to weather, adverse conditions, and relocation on short notice.
