About the Role

Fulton Financial Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Mortgage Loan Officer to join our team. As a Mortgage Loan Officer, you will be responsible for originating and processing mortgage loans for residential properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with real estate agents, builders, and developers to generate new business opportunities.
  • Conduct thorough credit analyses and financial assessments to determine the feasibility of mortgage loans.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their financial goals and recommend mortgage products that meet their needs.
  • Originate and process mortgage loans, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as underwriting and closing, to ensure smooth loan processing.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in residential mortgage lending, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong knowledge of mortgage products, regulations, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
