Position: Patient Registrar at AHMC Healthcare

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement infection control protocols and standards
  • Demonstrate competencies specific to diverse populations and age groups
  • Participate in departmental training sessions and staff meetings
  • Engage in initiatives aimed at enhancing departmental performance
  • Facilitate patient registration, ensuring accurate data collection and prompt reimbursement processes
  • Gather patient financial responsibilities, including co-payments and deductibles
  • Ensure smooth patient flow and complete the admission process efficiently
  • Exhibit exceptional customer service skills while fostering positive relationships with colleagues and hospital personnel

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong communication abilities
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient computer and typing skills
  • Familiarity with third-party payers
  • Preferred experience of 1-2 years in Admitting/Registration
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus
