Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to join our team in the Region. As a key member of our health and safety team, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to facilities, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide case management services for sites and assist management staff in their case management
  • Ensure associates receive quality healthcare while maintaining effective cost controls
  • Assist associates with workers' compensation processes and file/documentation management
  • Contact treating doctors to clarify diagnoses, treatment plans, and next appointments
  • Negotiate work restrictions and facilitate transitional duty assignments
  • Participate in emergency response efforts
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience as a RN with 3+ years' experience in occupational health
  • Current RN licensure/certification and BLS certification
  • Experience with worker's compensation
  • Ability to be available telephonically 24/7 for triage calls
  • 20 to 30% travel, mostly within the assigned region
Preferred Qualifications
  • COAHC certification
  • Solid understanding of OSHA and DOH/CDC programs
