Job Title: Account Manager

At Waymouth Farms, Inc. dba Good Sense Foods, we are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team. As an Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth by managing and nurturing relationships with existing accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through effective communication and proactive problem-solving.
  • Accurately receive and process customer orders in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Work closely with the Distribution/Freight Department to resolve any delivery issues and ensure timely customer satisfaction.
  • Leverage syndicated data, customer reports, and portal information to support sales initiatives and enhance customer success.
  • Partner with Finance/Accounting to address and resolve unauthorized customer deductions.
  • Assist Sales Executives in providing accurate sales forecasts and projections.
  • Work with the existing broker network to optimize account management strategies.
  • Manage the onboarding process for new customers, ensuring a smooth transition and integration.
  • Cross-functional coordination with various company functions to support new customer and product opportunities.
  • Share best practices and provide mutual support with other Account Managers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in B2B customer solutions and CPG experience is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Familiarity with EDI, ERP systems, and retail customer portals is preferred.
  • Strong communication abilities, with the capacity to think proactively and make independent decisions.
  • Excellent project management skills, capable of handling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
  • Strong critical thinking skills with a commitment to performance excellence.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across functions and develop long-term business relationships.
