Job Title: Float Pool Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Float Pool team at Senior Living Communities. As a Float Pool LPN, you will provide hands-on resident care, administer medications and treatments, and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide resident care, including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, and mobility
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care and treatment
  • Interact with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure quality care
  • Participate in in-service training and education programs to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing
  • Certification in CPR, AED, and First Aid
  • High school diploma or GED; four-year college or university degree desired
  • 1-2 years experience in a similar healthcare position preferred

Work Environment:

This position is very active and requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and climbing. The individual must use proper body mechanics to assist residents in their daily living. This position regularly requires long hours and frequent night and weekend work.

Travel:

No regular travel is expected, although occasional travel may be required for training sessions, continuing education opportunities, emergency situations, and other company functions.
