Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Float Pool FLEX PRN team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide hands-on resident care, administer medications and treatments, and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities
  • Provide resident care, including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, and mobility
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care and treatment
  • Participate in and attend all required in-service training and education programs
  • Assist with in-service and on-the-job training and mentoring of team members
Requirements
  • Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse in good standing
  • Certification in CPR, AED, and First Aid
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Four-year college or university degree desired
  • 1-2 years' experience in a similar healthcare position preferred

Work Environment

This position is very active and requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and climbing. The individual must use proper body mechanics to assist residents in their daily living. This position regularly requires long hours and frequent night and weekend work.

Travel

No regular travel is expected, although occasional travel may be required for training sessions, continuing education opportunities, emergency situations, and other company functions.
