The Maxwell Group, Inc. is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Float Pool team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality resident care and support in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Job Summary:As a Float Pool Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing hands-on resident care, administering medications and treatments, and maintaining accurate records. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest level of care and support for our residents.
Responsibilities:- Provide resident care and support in a variety of settings, including skilled nursing, memory care, and assisted living.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of resident care and treatment.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
- Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing.
- Certification in CPR, AED, and First Aid.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1-2 years' experience in a similar healthcare position preferred.
- Technical Skills: Demonstrates current and ongoing competence in tasks assigned.
- Communication: Effectively transfers information to necessary parties.
- Initiative: Self-motivated and personally competitive.
- Flexibility: Adapts quickly to changing conditions.
- Interpersonal Skills: Focuses on solving conflict, not blaming.
- Teamwork: Balances team and individual responsibilities.
- Professionalism: Ensures service is delivered on time and is of the highest quality.
- Ethics: Treats people with respect and maintains confidentiality.
This position is very active and requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and climbing. The individual must use proper body mechanics to assist residents in their daily living. This position regularly requires long hours and frequent night and weekend work.
Travel:No regular travel is expected, although occasional travel may be required for training sessions, continuing education opportunities, emergency situations, and other company functions.
