Energy Contracting Project Developer

At Trane Technologies, we're committed to creating innovative climate solutions for a sustainable world. As a Contracting Project Developer, you'll play a key role in developing turnkey design-build solutions and energy savings contracting projects. You'll work closely with internal teams and customers to identify and develop projects, including scope of work development, cost estimating, and proposal support.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop HVAC systems and solutions using Trane equipment and controls
  • Support Account Managers in developing project installation budgets and preparing RFQs
  • Provide key technical support in pursuit of Trane business
  • Manage design and construction documents
  • Continually validate the effectiveness of Design-Build Turnkey and ESPC processes

Qualifications:

  • Four-year degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related degree
  • 4+ years of related experience in MEP design of HVAC systems or developing design/build projects
  • Working knowledge of mechanical HVAC, electrical, and lighting systems and building construction/remodel
  • Project Management and Performance Contracting/ESCO experience required

Compensation:

$90,000-$125,000 plus Local Incentive Plan
