Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Engineer to lead the design and development of new products and support current production lines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience in flow control product design and manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement new product designs that meet defined performance and cost targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, manufacturing, and quality, to ensure successful product launches.
  • Conduct lab testing and end-user reviews to validate product designs.
  • Provide strategic direction to grow and improve our products and customer base.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience leading mechanical engineering projects, including defining requirements, developing concepts, and detailed designs.
  • Experience with metal manufacturing processes, including machining and assembly.
  • Proficiency in design software, including SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and LabVIEW.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in flow control product design and manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of APQP, Lean Manufacturing, Design for Manufacturing, and 8D Corrective Actions.
