Boufford Insurance Agency is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Commercial Insurance Account Coordinator to enhance our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive responses to clients regarding coverage and billing inquiries, ensuring clarity on rate variations and policy modifications.
- Facilitate the renewal process and policy adjustments by offering competitive estimates.
- Assist clients in reporting claims on existing policies by compiling all necessary documentation for the adjuster.
- Maintain current knowledge of industry standards, rates, coverages, insurance products, and regulations by engaging with industry partners, enabling effective support for clients, underwriters, and the service team.
- Update client accounts with policy modifications and communicate changes in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a commercial lines insurance customer service role is preferred.
- Property and Casualty License is required or candidates must be willing to obtain it within 3 months.
- In-office work is mandatory.
- Previous experience in the insurance sector as an agent or in a related position is advantageous, though training will be provided for suitable candidates.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) are essential.
- Strong follow-up, written and verbal communication, and problem-solving skills are crucial for success in this position.
- Candidates must possess an active insurance license in their state or be prepared to obtain one within 90 days.
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred, but candidates with relevant insurance experience will also be considered.
