Job Summary

Shuvel Digital is seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer SME to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and highly available cloud-based systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement cloud-based infrastructure using Amazon AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.
  • Develop and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and other tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize infrastructure needs.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC) using tools like Terraform and Ansible.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps.
  • Strong understanding of agile and DevSecOps methodologies.
  • Experience with Linux and scripting (Bash and Python, etc).
  • Familiarity with microservice architectures (REST, JMS, AMQP).
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Istio and other service mesh technologies.
  • Experience with cloud security and compliance.
  • Strong understanding of cloud cost optimization and management.
