Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct and individualized nursing care to students, tailored to their specific health needs.
  • Assist students with managing their chronic health conditions, ensuring they can fully participate in school activities.
  • Implement interventions and referrals to promote health and support educational success.
  • Advocate for the comprehensive well-being of students, addressing their physical, emotional, mental, and social health needs.
  • Promote and lead health education initiatives for students and staff, contributing to a knowledgeable school community.
  • Provide expert oversight of school health services, enhancing the health and wellness culture within our school community.
Requirements:
  • Hold a Licensed Vocational Nurse License.
  • Experience in pediatric nursing is highly desired, highlighting your ability to cater to the unique health needs of children.
  • Ability to work with children, trachs, G-tube, and toilet hygiene required.
