Senior Business Development Manager for IoT and Digital Engineering Solutions

Job Description:

As a Senior Business Development Manager for IoT and Digital Engineering Solutions, you will lead the sales and management of engineering, manufacturing, and IoT solutions, services, and products across Hitech and Telecom verticals. You will provide domain expertise to shape solutions, create proposals, and articulate value to customers and prospects.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the Hitech and Telecom value chain, including product engineering, manufacturing, connected products, and related solutions and offerings.
  • Collaborate with sales and account teams to expand existing relationships and add new logos for IoT and DE solutions in Hitech and Telecom Industry.
  • Engage in market analysis, lead business planning, and strategic sales activities to map client and prospect stakeholders, create large deals, and monitor and close deals to meet TCV and revenue targets.
  • Actively participate in the marketplace, including product partners, to drive awareness of IoT and DE solutions with targeted clients through tradeshows, research-led thought leadership, client roadshows, and workshops.
  • Seamlessly embed with sales and account teams to expand existing relationships and add new logos for IoT and DE in Hitech and Telecom Industry.
  • Maintain excellent customer relationship skills with existing clients and prospects.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in managing an industry vertical business development experience in creating, shaping, and selling large-scale technology solutions.
  • Deep domain knowledge in Hitech, Telecom, and related industries.
  • Experience selling and delivering engineering, digital, Internet of Things, and/or connected solutions.
  • Ability to develop and present excellent presentations, compelling proposals, value propositions, business cases, and complex deal structuring.
  • Sound knowledge of engineering, embedded, PLM, MES, asset management kind of solutions.
  • Good technical skills with the ability to engage customers with consultative selling.
  • Ability to understand market/customer needs and work with solution teams to help develop innovation solutions for the industry.
  • Must have a 4-year bachelor's degree; good to have an MBA.
