The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating various aspects of our Master of Data Science in Health (MDSH) program, including student events, seminars, and marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate day-to-day operations, planning, tracking, organizing, and implementing various aspects of the MDSH program
  • Improve upon activities, create Standard Operating Procedures, and utilize project management tools and skills
  • Coordinate MDSH seminars and other events, and contribute to marketing and communications efforts
  • Represent the program to industry partners and play a pivotal role in launching and coordinating capstone projects
  • Utilize project coordination skills to effectively collaborate with a team on program implementation, maintain communication systems, and recognize, address, and overcome program challenges
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Biostatistics, Public Health, Education, or related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Master's Degree in Data Science, Biostatistics, Public Health, Education, or related area, or two+ years of directly related experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey information to individuals at all levels within the University community and data science industry
  • Proven ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with multiple priorities, frequent interruptions, and shifting demands
  • Ability to establish rapport, build a positive work atmosphere, and gain the trust of others, including working as part of a team and maintaining cooperative working relationships
Working Conditions

This position requires working in person on class weekends (approximately 9 weekends per academic year) and has the opportunity to work remotely 1 day per week initially, with potential for more in the future.
