Data Analyst

The University of Georgia is seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team in the Division of Development and Alumni Relations. As a key member of our Business Analytics team, you will be responsible for delivering business analytics solutions that advance and support the mission of the division.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and deliver key projects, creating and maintaining analytic dashboards and custom data models.
- Manage data sources and data validation, ensuring platform stability and performance.
- Develop and maintain ETL workflows, defining and developing algorithms and models to use against large datasets.
- Participate in the creation of uniform dashboards and other easily accessible interactive visual reports.
- Continuously develop technical skillsets related to data analytics and machine learning.
- Expertise in an analytical language (Python, R, or the equivalent), and experience with databases/SQL.
- Experience with machine learning concepts, data modeling, and interpretation of insights from datasets.
- Proficient in using enterprise visualization tools, including Tableau, Qlik Sense, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
- Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills and the ability to deal effectively and professionally with a variety of people.
