Key Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Equivalent Field of Study
  • Licensed Mental Health Clinicians, Including LCSW, LPC, LPCC, LMHC, LMFT, LPCMH, LPCC, LCPC
  • CAMS - Care Certification Must Be Obtained Within 12 Months of Hire
  • 4 Years of Experience in the Field or Related Area
  • Prior Counseling Experience in Behavioral Mental Health, Including Depression, Mood Disorders, Alcoholism, and Drug Dependency
  • Experience in Crisis Management, Abuse Reporting, and Cultural Competence
  • Experience Identifying, Preventing, and Treating Suicidal Behaviors
  • Experience with Patient Referral Management and Knowledge of Available Referral Resources

Job Responsibilities:
  • Utilize a Strengths-Based Approach to Assist Clients in Achieving Personal, Social, Educational, and Vocational Development
  • Provide Psychotherapy or Counseling to Individuals, Groups, Couples, or Families
  • Interact with Clients to Assist in Gaining Insight, Defining Goals, and Planning Action to Achieve Effective Personal and Social Development
  • Identify Psychological, Emotional, or Behavioral Issues and Diagnose Disorders Using Information Obtained from Interviews, Screeners, Records, and Reference Materials
  • Utilize Evidence-Based Intervention Methods Within Scope of Practice to Meet Needs of Population
  • Counsel Individuals Regarding Problems Such as Stress, Substance Abuse, and Family Situations
  • Engage Clients in Collaborative Discussion of Treatment Goals and Desired Outcomes
  • Participate as an Active Team Member in the Clinical Care Team
