In the UCSF Hair Analytical Laboratory, our team is dedicated to analyzing various substances in hair and other biological specimens. As a key member, you will oversee regulatory functions in the laboratory, ensuring high-quality results.

You will assist senior analysts, train junior analysts, and determine drug concentrations in samples using validated methods. Your expertise will be utilized to design, develop, and execute analytical methods to quantify antiretroviral, anti-TB, antibiotic drugs, controlled substances, and biomarkers in hair samples.

We adhere to FDA's Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and NIH's Division of AIDS Clinical Pharmacology Quality Assurance (CPQA) guidelines in method development, validation, and clinical sample assaying. You will also prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Analytical Validation Reports (AVR), and train new staff members.

**Compensation:** Based on your experience and qualifications, you can expect an annual salary of approximately $33,552 - $52,919, with opportunities for growth and professional development within the University of California, San Francisco.
