About the Job

This position offers a unique opportunity to support clinical studies in the African American community in the San Francisco Bay Area. The incumbent will work under the supervision of a Clinical Research Supervisor or Principal Investigator (PI) and receive training to prepare for journey-level work.


Job Responsibilities

The incumbent will perform entry-level duties related to the support and coordination of clinical studies, including managing responses to study advertisements and recruiting for studies. They may be responsible for coordinating one or more single or multi-site active clinical trials, preparing protocols for study initiation, designing flow sheets, data forms, and source documents, and collecting medical and laboratory data.

The incumbent will also help recruit, enroll, register, schedule, and retain study subjects, record protocol-specific treatments, collect samples, assist research personnel to keep patients on study schedules, collect, enter, and clean data into study databases, and maintain data quality.


What We Offer

The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) offers a competitive salary range of $28.48 - $45.80 per hour. This is a limited role that will end 1 year from the start date. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
