About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead Infant Teacher to join our team at Guidepost Montessori. As a Lead Infant Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the cognitive, social, and emotional development of infants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Observe and understand the unique needs of each infant, providing personalized support and care.
  • Prepare a beautiful and orderly environment that encourages exploration, learning, and independence.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with parents, keeping them informed about their child's progress and involving them in the educational process.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in infant education, incorporating new ideas and approaches into your teaching.

Requirements

  • Experience working with infants in a group setting, such as daycare or preschool.
  • Familiarity with child-led philosophies, such as Montessori or Reggio Emilia.
  • At least 2 college courses completed in Early Childhood Education or Child Development.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with parents and colleagues.
