  • Department Operations: Supervise and manage the daily activities of the Meat and Seafood department, including inventory management, pricing, and visual merchandising.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of associates to achieve sales goals, provide excellent customer service, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and stocking of products, to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Visual Merchandising: Maintain a visually appealing store environment, including the Meat and Seafood department, to drive sales and customer engagement.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to associates to enhance their skills and knowledge, ensuring they are equipped to provide exceptional customer service and meet sales goals.
  • Store Standards: Ensure that all store standards, including safety, security, and customer service, are met and exceeded.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a retail or food service management role, preferably in a grocery store environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Certifications: Current food handlers permit required; other certifications, such as HACCP or food safety, preferred.
