Position Available: Retail Cashier and Sales Associate

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Retail Cashier and Sales Associates. In this role, you will be the face of our company, providing exceptional service to our customers. Your responsibilities will include processing transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet every customer with a warm welcome.
  • Accurately scan items and ensure correct pricing.
  • Verify customer age for the purchase of restricted items in compliance with state regulations.
  • Handle cash transactions, providing change and receipts as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate cash drawers and reconcile sales receipts.
  • Adhere to food safety protocols and cleanliness standards.
  • Keep the checkout area organized and tidy.
  • Assist in stocking shelves and rotating products using FIFO methodology.
  • Stay informed about current promotions and product offerings.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve store objectives.
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
  • Prior experience in customer service is preferred.
  • Experience handling cash is a plus.
  • Basic math skills are necessary.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 30-40 lbs.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Reliable transportation is essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: $10-$11 per hour

Benefits:

  • Employee discount while on duty.
  • Paid time off after one year of service with an average of 35 hours or more per week.
