We are looking for a dedicated individual eager to enhance their knowledge and laboratory skills in the field of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) technology and genomics research. The selected candidate will operate within a high-throughput NGS laboratory that supports sequencing technologies and develops genomic applications for the research community at Planet Pharma.
The role involves:
- Assisting in single-cell molecular profiling and sequencing data generation.
- Participating in all phases of sample preparation, processing, library creation, sequencing, and in-process analytical quality control.
- Utilizing automation tools to streamline processes.
The candidate will receive comprehensive training on all procedures and workflows, with supervision until they are proficient in conducting independent work by adhering to established protocols. Additionally, you will contribute to the advancement of emerging single-cell and NGS applications for large-scale, high-throughput genomics initiatives.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Biology or a related field, with hands-on research experience in either academic or industry settings is preferred. Familiarity with NGS technology is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong teamwork capabilities, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A robust work ethic and a desire to make meaningful contributions to projects that aim to improve patient therapies and outcomes.
