Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Policy Manager to join our team at NMAC. This role will be responsible for leading the creation and expansion of policy coalitions, developing and implementing policy strategies, and engaging with policymakers to advocate for coalition priorities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead coalition growth initiatives, identifying potential partners and stakeholders, and developing effective partnerships.
  • Develop and implement policy strategies to advance coalition goals and objectives.
  • Engage with policymakers at local, state, and federal levels to advocate for coalition priorities.
  • Represent the coalition in external meetings, forums, and conferences to promote its policy objectives.
  • Manage communications and updates to coalition members to ensure clarity and alignment.
Requirements:
  • Juris Doctorate (JD) degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in policy advocacy, coalition-building, public affairs, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading or managing coalitions and/or large-scale advocacy campaigns.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.

The estimated salary for this role is $105,000 to $120,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
