Key Responsibilities:

  • Input new and renewal business into proprietary rating systems.
  • Utilize automated systems to upload applications and oversee the policy issuance process.
  • Draft and manage account service-related documents, including client communications and correspondence.
  • Assist in the renewal process by reviewing for accuracy and implementing requested changes.
  • Handle endorsements and audit transactions through effective communication with agents and underwriters.
  • Process new business declines, non-renewals, and cancellations.
  • Review all company correspondence to ensure relevance to client needs.
  • Maintain account files according to established protocols.
  • Foster and maintain positive working relationships with underwriters and agents.
  • Contribute to project timelines and provide feedback as necessary.
  • Respond to and process internal information requests.
  • Prepare, submit, and test IT programming requests.
  • Participate in projects and assignments as a representative of Operations.
  • Enhance professional skills through ongoing education and staying updated with industry trends.
  • Assist in the training of new employees.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Essential:
  • High School diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • Four years of relevant insurance experience may be considered equivalent.
  • Basic mathematics and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced PC and keyboarding skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for interaction with various stakeholders.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • All applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring future VISA sponsorship.
Preferred:
  • Experience in underwriting support is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with ISO and Commercial Lines Manual is preferred.
