Position Summary:
The Customer Service Lead plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the Earth Fare customer service standards are consistently met. This position is crucial for providing an exceptional shopping experience for all customers. The individual will manage the Front End operations, ensuring a secure and customer-centric environment. Responsibilities include overseeing cash office operations, managing cashier breaks, operating cash registers as needed, and addressing customer service inquiries with professionalism and promptness.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Promote and uphold the Earth Fare vision and customer service principles while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  2. Operational Duties: Assist in reconciling cash register drawers and managing daily cash office tasks. Communicate any discrepancies or issues to the Front End Manager promptly. Prepare daily bank deposits and maintain accurate cash office documentation. Train and coach cashiers on standard operating procedures and promote security awareness.
  3. Merchandising: Ensure the Front End Department is visually appealing by adhering to Earth Fare's merchandising guidelines.
  4. Department Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the department, including all fixtures and workstations.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Exceptional customer service skills for both customers and team members.
  2. Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  3. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  4. Excellent communication skills and professionalism.

Experience Requirements:
  1. Prior experience in cash handling and customer service is essential.
  2. Experience in bookkeeping is preferred.
  3. Previous experience with Earth Fare is advantageous.
Work Environment:
  1. Fast-paced setting focused on customer service.
  2. Requires standing and being active for the majority of the work shift.
Physical Requirements:
