Position Overview

The Project Engineer plays a pivotal role in our organization, ensuring the seamless execution of construction projects. This position involves a variety of responsibilities that support both the Project Management and Field Operations teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the management of project workflows and operations.
  • Utilize CAD design expertise and construction estimating skills to facilitate project planning.
  • Process and manage detailed project design files efficiently.
  • Create precise construction CAD models that adhere to project specifications.
  • Employ AutoCAD Civil3D for site layout and 3D surface modeling essential for construction.
  • Gather and analyze data from field supervisors to produce accurate as-built drawings.
  • Provide engineering support throughout various project phases.
  • Collect necessary design and survey control files for advanced grading machinery and GPS operations.
  • Implement innovative design techniques and procedures in assigned technical areas.
  • Conduct cut/fill analyses and perform earthworks take-offs as required.
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in civil engineering is preferred.
  • Proficiency in CAD, Microsoft Excel, estimating, land surveying, and/or field operations.
  • Familiarity with civil engineering infrastructure projects, including paving, concrete, water, sewer, grading, drainage, and utilities.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze consultant drawings and reports.
  • Understanding of estimating processes and AutoCAD design functionalities.
  • OSHA 10 certification is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary for project requirements.
