Firmware Engineer

Micron Technology is seeking a highly skilled Firmware Engineer to join our Data Center SSD team. As a Firmware Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing firmware for our Data Center SSD products.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of firmware development, verification, and system failure analysis. They will also have experience with embedded systems design, real-time embedded systems, and software engineering principles.
The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, communicate complex technical ideas, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and test firmware for Data Center SSD products
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure firmware meets product requirements
- Develop and maintain firmware documentation
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
- Identify and optimize performance of critical algorithms
- 15+ years of experience in firmware development and verification
- Strong understanding of firmware development, verification, and system failure analysis
- Experience with embedded systems design, real-time embedded systems, and software engineering principles
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical ideas
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
