Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Firmware Engineering Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing world-class firmware to fully maximize the strong hardware architecture of our in-house servers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of firmware engineers to design and develop cutting-edge firmware for enterprise products.
  • Drive the analysis, debug, optimization, and validation of BMC or CMM firmware on complex embedded multi-core architectures.
  • Provide hands-on customer support to ensure the successful adoption and integration of our products.
  • Mentor junior team members to ensure they can pick up tasks efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science preferred; Master's degree is desirable.
  • 12+ years of experience in software and/or firmware is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of PC hardware architecture, BMC, ROT, and Linux is required.
  • Direct experience in managing a team of firmware engineers supporting storage, computing, or multi-purpose rack server systems.
  • Technical proficiency and strong experience in C/C++ for drivers or embedded systems is required.
  • Hands-on experience with kernel and firmware debugging and protocol analyzers is desirable.
Compensation:

$170,000 - $208,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
