Job Title: Assistant/Associate Professor of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced osteopathic physician to join our faculty as an Assistant/Associate Professor of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, research, and service in the Department of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver innovative osteopathic-focused clinical education to medical students and residents
  • Assess student performance of osteopathic core competencies using a wide array of assessment techniques
  • Engage in scientific research or other scholarly activity in efforts towards publication(s)
  • Participate in college and university committees/taskforces as assigned
  • Provide patient care as assigned by the Chair to maintain skills and provide educational opportunities for students
Requirements:
  • DO degree from an accredited College of Osteopathic Medicine
  • Eligibility for or possession of an active and unrestricted license to practice medicine in Missouri
  • Skilled in the art and science of NMM/OMM
Preferred Qualifications:
  • AOA Board Certification/Board Eligibility in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine (NMM) strongly desired
  • Experience working in preclinical and/or clinical education in an academic setting teaching OMM skills to medical students
