Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Neurology Assistant Professor to join our team at the University of Kansas Medical Center. As a key member of our academic faculty, you will be responsible for teaching, research, and clinical service.

Key Responsibilities
  • See patients in the outpatient neurology neuromuscular clinic.
  • On occasion, cover the academic teaching service in the inpatient hospital unit.
  • Supervise neurology residents and fellows, including supervision of trainees in the hospital and in the outpatient clinic.
  • Teach medical students on the inpatient and outpatient services and provide occasional lectures.
  • Pursue scholarly activity in the areas of neuromuscular medicine disease.
  • Other duties as assigned by Department Chair.
Requirements
  • MD, DO, or foreign degree equivalent to an MD.
  • Eligible for Kansas medical license.
  • Completion of neurology residency training and neuromuscular medicine fellowship training.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills.
