Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) for our plasma donor clinic in Laurel, MD.
Job Details:
- This unique nursing role involves conducting initial health assessments of potential blood donors to ensure their suitability for plasma donation. The LPN/RN will perform donor intake, vital signs, finger-stick tests, and head-to-toe medical exams.
- Qualified donors who pass the assessment will be referred to the phlebotomy team for blood donation, while those who don't meet requirements will be counselled by the nurse on necessary steps to qualify for future donations.
- This part-time opening offers 2-3 days per week, with flexibility required as scheduled days may vary each week. Occasional weekend work is also necessary, as the clinic operates 7 days a week.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.

About the Opportunity:
The estimated salary for this position is around $35-$45 per hour, based on industry standards and location. This translates to approximately $72,000-$90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
