Accentuate Staffing presents a hybrid opportunity for a Lead Financial Analysis Specialist within a global organization. This role is pivotal within the finance department, serving as a strategic partner dedicated to modeling and analytical support. The position encompasses responsibilities related to month-end and year-end financial reporting and analysis against budgetary expectations and forecasts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Partnership
    • Collaborate with sales operations to comprehend and assess gross sales data, electronic data interchange (EDI), and forecasting.
    • Oversee net revenue assessments to ensure accurate recording of sales allowances and to understand the ongoing sales forecast based on actual performance.
    • Engage with designated business leaders monthly to analyze actual versus budget and forecast variances, expense planning, and financial oversight.
    • Support the finance team during month-end closing to guarantee accrual accuracy through discussions with departmental leaders and appropriate intercompany eliminations.
    • Draft written analyses to elucidate variances for inclusion in executive management discussions and presentations to leadership.
    • Develop, maintain, and report on essential departmental metrics to management.
    • Utilize analytical methods to uncover insights and communicate findings to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting
    • Lead the budgeting and forecasting initiatives by coordinating assumptions and relevant inputs, including a comprehensive company overview, macro financial indicators, and compliance with debt covenants.
    • Assist departmental managers with the annual budgeting process and rolling forecast submissions by providing guidance on actual trends versus planned activities and forecast metrics.
    • Support Balance Sheet modeling efforts.
  • System Oversight
    • Manage the company’s planning software, ensuring monthly updates for actuals, creation of annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and other necessary scenarios.
    • Facilitate the management of other ERP/BI systems to ensure consistency between general ledger account coding, cost centers, project codes, and more.
  • Ad-Hoc Financial Analysis
    • Conduct capital expenditure modeling, analysis, and forecasting.
    • Perform return on investment (ROI) analysis for programs and initiatives.
    • Develop financial models to evaluate various business opportunities and cost-saving measures.
    • Prepare ad-hoc reports, financial models, and process documentation as required to support management and departmental needs.
  • Additional Duties
    • Undertake other responsibilities as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is required.
  • Experience with consolidation/reporting software is advantageous (Oracle EPM preferred).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (PowerBI preferred).
