Position Summary

The Department of Pediatrics is in search of a pediatric neurology specialist.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, a strong work ethic, and a collaborative spirit, engaging in educational initiatives and representing the division both locally and nationally.


The division comprises five board-certified pediatric neurologists, one developmental behavioral pediatrician, and two full-time pediatric nurse practitioners, with active programs addressing epilepsy, neurodevelopmental issues, sleep disorders, and neuromuscular conditions.



Key Responsibilities

Primary duties encompass managing outpatient clinics, participating in shared inpatient rotations, providing trainee education, and engaging in clinical research. The Voelcker Clinical Research Center offers support for faculty involved in research activities.

Minimum Qualifications


Qualified candidates must possess an MD, DO, or MD/PhD degree, be board eligible/certified in Pediatric Neurology, and hold or be in the process of obtaining a Texas medical license.

The rank and appointment will be contingent upon the candidate's qualifications and experience.
