Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Insurance Receivables Specialist to join our team at Life Center Counseling. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and processing denied claims, and maintaining effective communication with insurance companies and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues related to insurance payments.
  • Prepare and analyze reports related to receivables and authorization status.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and insurance representatives, addressing inquiries and resolving issues as needed.
  • Follow up on outstanding claims, resolve denials or rejections, and work to obtain prompt payment.
  • Obtain and manage Medicaid authorizations for services and 90-day treatment plans.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Prepare and analyze reports on authorization.
  • Obtain and manage EAP (Employee Assistance Program) authorization and billing.
  • Greet and welcome clients and/or visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Answer and direct phone calls appropriately.
  • Collect copays, coinsurance or any balance showing due.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma
  • Proven experience in insurance receivables, claims processing, and authorization management.
  • Proven experience in Medicaid healthcare programs.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with patients, insurance representatives, and internal staff.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
